ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
This workshop offers a welcoming introduction to the art of rigid heddle weaving. Whether you're completely new to weaving or looking to build a solid foundation, this class will guide you through the essential skills needed to get started with confidence.
You will learn how to set up a rigid heddle loom from start to finish and explore basic weaving techniques while creating a small handwoven towel. The amount of weaving you complete will depend on how quickly you set up your loom, but you will receive step-by-step support throughout the process.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own rigid heddle loom if they have one. Learning to warp and weave on your own equipment is an excellent way to build confidence and continue working independently after the class.
