OBJECTIVE
Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of plant-based dyes in this hands-on workshop. Guided by Myriam Rochon, you will experience the magic of colors extracted from plants and learn how to transform textile fibers using ancestral techniques.
You will create a color chart based on three dye plants on silk and wool.
Specific advice for your dyeing projects will also be provided.

ABOUT MYRIAM
Myriam originally studied in music and visual arts, and turned to horticulture, agriculture and environmental sciences to perfect her knowledge of the plants that form the basis of her materials of predilection. In 2015, she launched the habi habi project. Specializing in the ecological harvesting and gathering of dye plants for textile dyeing, she has since shared her knowledge with an enthusiastic and growing community, and more recently returned to her research-creation.
