WEFT FACED TWILL TAPESTRY

Friday, April 25 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Saturday April 26th from 9am to 4:30pm

Sunday April 27th from 9am to 4.30pm

DESCRIPTION

In this course each participant will plan and weave a weft faced twill tapestry. A wide variety of patterns will be presented and students are invited to design their own using a specially designed graph paper. After choosing their colours and finalizing their design, participants will weave and then finish the fringe of their tapestry.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

    Pencil crayons for the design for all three courses.

    GOOD TO KNOW

    • A kitchenette is at your disposal (fridge, microwave oven).
    • The workshop will be held in both french and english

    CANCELATION POLICY

    Due to the limited number of participants per workshop, we are unable to offer refunds. However, if you are unable to attend the session, you may transfer your place to another person. Any classes cancelled by us due to low registration or health mandates will have the option for a refund or transfer to future date.

    ABOUT SANDY

    Sandy Lamb is a textile artist living and working in Montreal. With 15 years of experience weaving, he has been producing art and functional objects under the label Haut Beau since 2015. His work has been exhibited in Canada and the United States. His main areas of interest within textiles is weft faced weaving and dyeing.
