PROJECT
In this course, you will be introduced to the technique of crochet embroidery. You'll make a sample, then start a decorative embroidery project based on a design you've brought along. At the end of the class, we'll cover a few finishing techniques.
We'll finish with a discussion of the various applications of this technique for your future projects!.

ABOUT MARIELLE
Combining her need to create with her hands and her desire to communicate through art, Marielle Saucier defines herself as a person with a sense of creativity.
Marielle Saucier defines herself as a textile artisan and fiber artist. Since obtaining her diploma in textile construction from the Centre des textiles contemporains de Montréal et de l'Institut des métiers d'art (2022), Marielle has participated in various events and group exhibitions. She is now a teaching at the CTCM and leads various textile workshops, while pursuing her career as an emerging artist. Her interest in fine, delicate manipulation leads Marielle to work mainly in weaving and ornamental techniques - embroidery and crochet beading..
