Class: Intro to Rigid Heddle Loom Weaving | July 18 & 19
Description
The Rigid Heddle Loom is portable, affordable, and simple to use, making it an excellent introduction to the world of weaving. In this two-session workshop, participants will learn the basics of setting up a Rigid Heddle Loom while weaving a set of kitchen towels.
During the first day, participants will explore design concepts, yarn calculations, loom warping, simple color patterns, textures, and basic weave structures.
On the second day, participants will learn how to remove their project from the loom as well as different finishing techniques.
