Learn to spin wool on a traditional spinning wheel!

Sign up for
a traditional spinning wheel workshop and learn to master every step of
transforming wool into yarn.
The workshop takes place in Montreal and consists of three sessions offered on
three consecutive weekends, totaling 18 hours of learning.
It is
suitable for beginners as well as those already experienced, who wish to
perfect their skills and deepen their knowledge.
Sundays, January 18 and 25, and February 1, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

sheep’s wool (except raw fleece), provided as washed, carded, and combed roving

Detailed
course notes (approximately 20 pages) to support continued learning after the
workshop
WHAT TO BRING
·
Light
and comfortable indoor shoes that allow you to feel the spinning wheel treadle
(avoid thick-soled athletic shoes)
·
Scissors
or thread snip
·
Notebook
for taking notes, if desired
·
Your
own spinning wheel, small tools, or animal fibers (sheep, cat, dog, rabbit,
alpaca, pony), if desired
