Weaving kit - Modernist Towels - Gist yarn
- Description
Modernist Towels
Designed bu Christine Jablonski
These graphic towels were inspired by the off-register, vibrating, staccato movement found in Modernist paintings of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The False Damask structure, with its interplay of warp- and weft-dominant areas, enhances the natural qualities of the Duet Cotton/Linen blend, producing a fabric with exceptional smoothness and a supple hand after finishing.
With a different tie-up, the block threading also lends itself to other variations such as Turned Twill.
This kit allows you to weave three towels measuring 38 cm × 60 cm (15" × 24") after finishing.
