Schacht boat shuttles are beautifully shaped, comfortable to hold and well balanced. The double bobbin boat shuttle is perfect for doubled weft yarns. Two separate bobbin shafts make it possible to remove one bobbin at a time.
Made of wood sustainably grown in the forests of northern Michigan and Canada. The shuttles are sanded smooth and hand-rubbed Danish oil finish. The oil used to finish the shuttles is applied by hand (not sprayed) and is free of drying agents that are harmful to the ozone layer.
Comes with two bobbins. Additional bobbins can be purchased here.
