ABOUT MYRIAM
Originally trained in music and visual arts, Myriam Rochon turned to horticulture, agriculture and environmental sciences to perfect her knowledge of the plants that form the basis of her materials of choice. In 2015, she launched the habi habi project. Specializing in the ecological cultivation and gathering of dye plants for textile dyeing, she has since been sharing her knowledge with an interested and growing community, and more recently returning to her research-creation practice where she works in particular with spinning, weaving, vegetable dyeing and lacquered pigments.
