Louët David III — Compact, Powerful, Precise

The David III is an 8-shaft floor loom that combines a compact design with advanced features found in larger looms. Inspired by the story of David and Goliath, this loom may appear modest in size but delivers remarkable performance.

Revised in 2021, this third generation David loom features a reinforced frame, improved braking system, standing beater, and sturdier beams for increased stability and precision.

Equipped with a sinking shed system, the David III offers a generous 3" shed opening.

Thanks to its sleek and compact design, it occupies minimal floor space while outperforming many larger looms. Its innovative cam system greatly eases keeping the shed open—much more efficiently than a traditional jack treadle loom.

The loom is foldable, reducing its depth to 87 cm (34") for easy storage.
