The Louet S17 is an excellent spinning wheel for beginners. Each wheel comes with a flyer with hooks, three bobbins, and a lazy kate support. Early Louet models like the S10 and S17 feature a simple tension system on the flyer, making them ideal for learning to spin and perfect for thicker yarns.

This model is Louet’s most affordable wheel, made from laminated wood and delivered unfinished—ready for you to varnish, wax, or paint.
